About The Dog Field
Hawkeridge Dog Field is conveniently located on the B3097 Hawkeridge Road, perfectly positioned between the villages of Heywood, North Bradley and Yarnbrook. Our location makes the field easily accessible for dog owners travelling from Trowbridge, Westbury and Melksham, offering a simple and direct route without the stress of navigating tight country lanes. We’re also only a short drive from the neighbouring towns of Warminster and Frome, making Hawkeridge Dog Field a popular choice for secure dog exercise across a wide area of Wiltshire and Somerset. Being situated directly on Hawkeridge Road means we are easy to find, with excellent access, clear visibility from the main road and convenient parking, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free arrival for every visit.
Hawkeridge Dog Field offers a secure, private space of approximately 2.5 acres for dogs to run, play and explore with complete freedom. The field is fully enclosed with 1.8metre high fencing and strong stock wire around the entire boundary, giving owners peace of mind while their dogs enjoy safe, off-lead exercise.
Our secure, gated parking area allows you to park away from the road before releasing your dog, making arrivals calm and stress-free. The field itself is flat, grassy and easy to navigate, with beautiful views across to the Westbury White Horse, creating an enjoyable experience for both dogs and their owners.
We believe secure dog fields are one of the best ways to exercise your dog. Whether you’re working on recall, giving a nervous or reactive dog a safe environment, avoiding livestock, or simply wanting a peaceful countryside space to enjoy together, the benefits of a secure dog field are endless.
Enrichment is just as important as physical exercise for dogs, which is why Hawkeridge Dog Field includes several enrichment stations positioned around the outskirts of the field. These features give dogs natural obstacles to explore, sniff and interact with, helping to stimulate their senses and build confidence while they play.
Our aim is to create a fun, engaging and secure environment where dogs can truly thrive. With plenty of space to roam, countryside surroundings to enjoy and a safe setting for every visit, Hawkeridge Dog Field offers a calm and enriching experience for both dogs and their owners.
